Last week of School!
The Sunnyland Dash starts now! This FUNdraising* event is one of the PTA’s main sources of income for the year. On Friday, October 4th, students will dash through the Sunnyland obstacle course together. Leading up to Dash Day, the PTA is asking Sunnyland families to collect donations from family, friends, neighbors, & businesses. This year the PTA aims to raise $10,000 toward field trips, enrichment programs, and more!
How Does this Fundraiser Work?
Your child(ren) will bring home a letter with a collection envelope attached. Each time your family collects a donation, you can put it in the envelope. Checks can be made payable to “Sunnyland PTA”. Donations can also be made via credit card - at https://dash-for-sunnyland.cheddarup.com . Please bring cash and check donations back to your classroom teacher or drop the envelope in the PTA mailbox inside the school office by Dash Day.
What Does the PTA do with Funds from this Event? We pay for:
Field trips
Assemblies (Pacific Science Center!)
Enrichment activities in the classroom
School Spirit T-Shirts and Yearbooks for free for every student!
Need-Based Scholarships for After-School Enrichment Programs
How Can You Help?
Ask your family, friends and co-workers to support Sunnyland.
If you own a business, consider making a tax deductible donation.
What is Dash Day?
The Sunnyland PTA will provide a Sunnyland t-shirt on Dash Day for every student to wear as they complete a fun-filled obstacle course. Each child will keep their Spirit T-Shirt to wear on Friday Spirit Days all year!
