Spring 2024 Enrichment Programs

Hello Sunnylanders! We are excited to have the 2024 Spring Enrichment Programs

available for our students.! Registration opens Wednesday, March 20 th at 5:00

p.m. Registration will close Wednesday, March 27 th at 8:00 p.m.

Registration and payments for the PTA Sponsored Programs below takes place

PTA Sponsored Programs offered this spring session include:

o Yoga: Grades K-2

o Yoga: Grades 3-5

o Art: Grades K-3

o Art: Grades 2-5

o Chess Club: Grades 1-5

o LEGOs: Grades K-5

o Magic: Grades 1-5

o Martial Arts: Grades 1-5

Community Programs (non-PTA sponsored) include:

o Girls of the Run (YMCA)

o WMBC Sunnyland Mountain Bike Club

To participate in these Community programs, you must go directly to their

website for registration.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Spring Program Dates: All programs will generally begin the week after spring break

and end the week of June 7th; please check each class for exact start and end dates as

they may vary depending on the provider.

Enrichment classes are not held on days when schools are closed.

Enrollment through lottery: When signing up for a program, you will automatically be

put on a waitlist. Spaces in the programs will be filled though a random lottery system

once registration is closed. Families will be notified via email by Thursday, March 28 th

verifying enrollment status. Please look for this email as it is the only way notifications

will be sent.

Scholarships: The PTA wants to ensure that Sunnyland parents and guardians feel

supported and invited for their student to attend an after-school program each year.

Scholarships are awarded on a lottery basis as funds are available. Sunnyland PTA’s

updated Enrichment Scholarship Policy provides one full scholarship (100%) per child

(per session) or one half scholarship (50%) per child (per session) for families who have

financial need. Scholarship codes will be provided to you if your child has been chosen

in the lottery and given a spot in the program.
